The newests shop to open in Ramsbottom is Direct Flooring and Beds based out of Princess Court on Silver Street in Ramsbottom.
A week or so ago I caught up with owner Shaun Malik to find out more about their new venture. Shaun talks about his history in the flooring industry and what you can expect if you shop with Direct Flooring and beds.

Summerseat Players clear up at Manchester Drama Federation Awards 2019
Summerseat Players win an impressive ten awards at this years Greater Manchester Drama Federation (GMDF) Awards including three Best Production awards and the highest award, The Drama Shield for Best Overall Dramatic Achievement. The players are currently working on their September production of And A Nightingale Sang. Tickets go on sale online from 17th August.
The fixture list for Ramsbottom United has been released, the first league match of the season is on Saturday Aug 17th which is at home to Widnes.
The Real Schools Guide for 2019 is out which has rated Woodhey High School a 4 out of 5 stars. This is an increase on last years rating of 3. Woodhey is ranked at 1151 out of 3166 schools across England.
