In the mid 1800’s many businesses were investing in the latest trend to appear, railways.
Each business had their own interests and lines to create and connect, mainly to help their already existing businesses such as the various Mills around towns such as Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall.

The votes have been counted and verified for the 2015 General and Local Elections and the winners are:

Roy Hodkinson and David Nuttall retained their places in Ramsbottom and Bury North respectively.
It was a very close race between James Frith and David Nuttall. With which David Nuttall came out the victor.
I hope that all of the issues people have highlighted with Ramsbottom and Bury North are taken notice or, regardless of which party they were originally directed at.
We’re lucky in Ramsbottom but we’re not without our own issues, parking for example is one that is mentioned often. I know Labour candidates were looking into the parking issues, I just hope this continues.

Starting from just an idea, some late nights and a love for crafting, Helen grew her business Fair Trade Emporium from a passion, into something she loves to get out of bed early for each Saturday morning.
With the initial plan being that Fair Trade Emporium would be a shop, Helen was soon swayed by the comparatively low rental costs of a market stall, and after trying this for a few weeks, was hooked.
