Starting from just an idea, some late nights and a love for crafting, Helen grew her business Fair Trade Emporium from a passion, into something she loves to get out of bed early for each Saturday morning.
With the initial plan being that Fair Trade Emporium would be a shop, Helen was soon swayed by the comparatively low rental costs of a market stall, and after trying this for a few weeks, was hooked.
Ramsbottom, being a Fair Trade town is home to many small businesses and shops, with Helens Fair Trade Emporium enhancing this ethic. Helen has proven with Fair Trade Emporium..
that if you want to do something, and you’ve got the passion to do it, just get up and do it. The only thing holding you back is fear, and that fear is something we all share, so be the one to make the move.
Everyone has an idea at some point that we’d love to run with, but things get in the way, in Helen’s case it was weather and a minor disaster, but this didn’t stop her, no infact with the nature of a market, Helens neighbouring stalls lent a hand.
You can find Fair Trade Emporium on Ramsbottom market every Saturday from around 7:00am but better to shop from around 9:30am when everything is setup. You can’t miss the campervan and bright red tent. Go along and say you heard about her on This is Rammy, I’m sure she’ll love to show you her passion for Fair Trade.
