If it’s not windows breaking or walls leaking, it’s the threat of the whole place falling down. Laura has had more than her fair share of problems with her venture into creating a place she would love to eat right here in Ramsbottom.
When Laura moved to Ramsbottom almost 3 years ago, she immediately noticed a gap in the market when it came to catering to the Vegan and Raw crowd.
Being Vegan herself she was desperate to have somewhere nice to eat in Ramsbottom that suited her palate.

Did you find time to get to Dundee United Reformed Church today to their MacMillan Coffee morning?
I walked into the room half expecting very few people despite the fact I could hear the hustle and bustle from just a short distance from the top of the wheelchair ramp leading in to Dundee United Reformed Church on Dundee Lane.
I was amazed at the turn out, the whole place was heaving, standing room only, which given this was all for MacMillan was amazing.
I paid my £2 and bought three strips of raffle tickets, one of each colour and made my way around the stalls at the outside of the room.

Future upgrade path identified.
As you can imagine there are many costs with producing a podcast. Website hosting, microphones, storage costs, software and audio production costs to name several.
Currently all costs come out of my own pocket, however if you ever wanted to donate to the podcast, maybe with audio production credits, then who am I to stop you?
Ramsbottom is undergoing a facelift (some would say constantly), specifically Bridge Street. It was supposed to have several new premises opening however it would appear that Havana Cafe and Bar is no longer going to be opening, meaning that W.D Scholes is back on the market again for someone to invest in. The following businesses however are WELL on their way to opening and have made huge leaps towards opening day.
You might recall from the interview I had with Lucy that Little Goody New Shoes is opening soon. The signs have been installed, stock is rolling in and the first steps into becoming a shoe shop have been made.
Another shop open during the day is a welcome to Ramsbottom given the recent boom in evening establishments such as Bars and Restaurants, speaking of which.
