Welcome to another episode of This is Rammy, this week in the run up to Valentine’s Day I’m having a bit of a love-themed episode.

In the week that Manchester was voted number 8 in a list of “The Happiest Places to work” in The Guardian I thought it would be good to get a head start on Valentine’s Day.

You’ll hear from Cheryl of Highfields Florists, Mike from The Card Shop and a special word from Stuart of The Vineyard on how he has love in a bottle!

Don’t forget that this is a podcast episode post, so you see that little play button up near the top left?

Give it a press to hear this episode in all it’s glory.

Even better, if you subscribe to the podcast, you’ll get it into your podcast player of choice or a link to the post emailed to you each week – so no searching around.

It feels fairly strange doing a podcast episode about Valentine’s day, mainly because I’m not exactly great at it. I’ve done things in the past such as took a half day of work and cooked my wife a full meal from scratch with homemade heart shaped pasta but in general, I’m not fantastic at it.

So I thought I’d get some help, in the form of Cheryl of Highfields, Mike from The Card Shop and Stuart from The Vineyard with all of them coming together to form a three-pronged attack in mission “keep the wife happy”.

For example, did you know that the original flower of Valentine’s day was actually the Tulip? Oh, you did? See, I told you I’m not best suited for this, which is why I have these three Ramsbottom local businesses owners to help.

Check out the podcast episode to hear what each had to say.

Lolo’s has a set three-course menu featuring a variety of lovely vegan and raw treats for all your love birds. In addition, to the three courses, there is also a mysterious comment on the menu promising “Chocolate Surprise” per couple. If it’s anything like my type of surprises, it will be “Surprise! I’m out of chocolate”
