OK, I agree there is some room for error here, however to try to avoid any bias, I’m taking these ratings and reviews directly from TripAdvisor as of the 24th of June 2019.
Does your favourite restaurant make the cut?
To give you an idea of what a quarter mile radius looks like, here it is:
After some discussion on social media about where is the centre of Ramsbottom, which many agreed was The Urn, I used Free Map Tools website to create this fetching green circle above.

- Goto Tripadvisor and search for Ramsbottom
- Click Restaurants in the menu bar
- Click on the link to limit to Ramsbottom only:
- Sort by Rank.
