Ramsbottom Privets Attack Unarmed Pedestrians

If you were ever under the illusion that Ramsbottom wasn’t subject to council cuts simply take a look at the hazard on Silver Street near Princess Court.

The two pictures here were taken on Tuesday the 30th of August 2016 at around 5pm. These bushes forced me and my son to walk in the street as we were heading towards Morrison’s.

If it’s not the shoddy job that was the patching up of Bridge Street after the gas pipe upgrades or the tremendous number of ever increasing potholes; both in number and size it’s the terrible upkeep of our pavements.

I don’t know if you feel the same but I’m sick of the lack of attention our facilities receive now. I’d go out there and trim it myself if I didn’t think I’d end up with some bill or fine from the council or they’d actually expect the public to always do it.

I just wish they would pull their fingers out and put our tax money back into the services that it’s supposed to be for.

Sure, this is potentially an over-ranty post, but there is only so many times we can go on smiling and accepting that we’re paying for services that are not being provided.
