On the morning of the 4th of July, The Venetian in Ramsbottom suffered a devastating fire which ripped the heart out of the restaurant. I wrote about it on the day it happened and managed to catch up with Paolo yesterday to see how things are getting on and what the plan is for the future.
Naturally this is a big event for Ramsbottom, but as Paolo said in his interview, this feels like a massive responsibility for him too given the staff that his rely on The Venetian being open, as well as his own young family too.
Paolo has committed to “working his ass off” to get everything up and running again in as quick a time frame as possible. At the moment he’s expecting it to take around about three months, hopefully it will be quicker than this but until the insurance companies have finished their work Paolo can’t start.
I hope you enjoyed this episode of This is Rammy, as always I’m very open to communication from you, please drop me an email [email protected], or any of the social media channels, I personally check each and every one of them and without you listening there would be no show (or there would but it would be me just sat in a room talking to nobody).
