Rachel Sorah is the owner of Unique Social which is based on Bolton Street in Ramsbottom. A social media marketing business that can do everything from looking after your social media feeds to training you on the best things to do.

As well as running Unique Social, Rachel also runs Social Space. Social Space is a Co-working location where you can rent a desk on a month to month basis. This allows you to not only have your own space to work from but to be able to have flexibility to come and go.

Long running roadworks expecting to cause problems over Summer

It feels like I’m writing more and more about the roadworks in and around our town. Either they’re feeling more frequent or the data for upcoming roadworks is getting better, either way, I’ve got more for you.

As expected, when school holidays come around, the big roadworks follow. The focus this time seems to primarily be around the Lumb Carr Road area, if this is your regular route you’ll no doubt have seen the signs up.

Summerseat Players clear up at Manchester Drama Federation Awards 2019

We are very lucky here in Ramsbottom, not only do we have many fantastic restaurants, but we have a fantastic local amateur theatre group the Summerseat Players.

If you’ve not heard of Summerseat Players before they’re based at the Theatre Royal on Smithy Street in Ramsbottom. I actually spoke to Stephen Gill back in January 2016 and Elizabeth Dunn in August 2016 of Summerseat Players.

Summerseat Players enjoyed fantastic success at this year’s Greater Manchester Drama Federation (GMDF) Awards which took place at the Last Drop Village Hotel last Saturday.

Things just got serious with the release of the fixtures for this upcoming years football season for Ramsbottom United as announced on the Ramsbottom United website.

Here’s the list, get yourself comfortable, it’s a big one. I’ve taken the list from the Ramsbottom United website and broken it down into League and Cup matches. Where you see there’s an option of both on a particular date, they’re in both lists. Home matches are italicised and they’re in date order.
