This week on the podcast I speak to Elizabeth Dunn who for the second time at The Theatre Royal will be directing a play, her first being Sherlock Holmes earlier in the year.

As well as directing and acting, Elizabeth has a family, a fulltime job as well as a creative flair for miniature creations which she has sold at markets such as Bolton in the past.

I speak to her about the ins and outs of finding time to do all that as well as ask her what she would rather be doing, acting or directing.

Take a look at the upcoming plays coming up at Summerseat Players Theatre Royal.

As mentioned in the podcast Elizabeth is extremely talented and here are a couple of her creations from her sideline: Bizzy Lizzy Creations

Ramsbottom United:

Ramsbottom United after having had a great start to the season with the 3-1 win over Goole have now had two successive defeats. Thankfully only one of them was in the league. The most recent defeat was against the old football club in the world, which if they’re that old you’d have expected us to run rings round them. On Saturday the 20th of August Ramsbottom United lost 2-1 in the FA Cup Preliminary match, the previous defeat being a 2-1 loss against Kendal Town.

We’ll no doubt learn from these last two defeats and bounce back to a winning form.
