Please note, the election debate incorrectly mentioned in the podcast. The Election Debate is on Sunday 19th April and not Friday 17th April. Friday the 17th is the last date to submit questions.
This week on This is Rammy we spoke to Gwenda from Friends of Nuttall Park and ask her what FONP is all about, what got her involved with it and why you should think about becoming involved too.
Having lived in Ramsbottom for nearly 40 years, Gwenda has seen many comings and goings around our small town of Ramsbottom and has a few of her own ideas when it comes to what Ramsbottom should do with it’s local businesses.
Friends of Nuttall Park do not charge for any of their events that they organise, but donations are very much appreciated and can be given on the day of the events, just look for someone with a bucket collecting money. All donations go towards the park to help keep it looking great.
We also go through and choose just a handful of events taking place this week, links provided below.

The Election Debate is on Sunday 19th April and not Friday 17th April. The confusion has arisen because Friday is the last day for submitting questions
Ahh many thanks for this, I’ve amended the post. Apologies for continuing the confusion and thanks for the correction.
Sunday the 19th for the Election Debate event, 17th for the deadline for any questions to be raised. So very sorry for printing the wrong date in the weekly newsletter – I have definitely added (if not created) the confusion. Great podcast this week Lee!
Don’t worry, I just happened to pull a few events out that caught my eye, just so happened this was one of them, just our luck eh 🙂
I’m sure people will understand, thanks for the lovely comments about the podcast, it’s getting there.
