They’re back! Electricity Northwest had been digging up the road near the Fusiliers from the 15th of Jan and originally until around the the 21st of January, but if memory serves me right, I think it overran by a day or so.
Well, if you missed those roadworks, don’t worry as they’re back for the sequel. Presumably the week they had last time wasn’t enough, or there was another fault elsewhere, either way it’s going to be chaos on the roads again.
Knowing what delays were caused last time, it might be worth subscribing to the podcast to have something to listen to?

The roadworks this time, as before, are two-way signals flavoured. Expect longer delays than usual during busy periods, especially when people join Bolton Road West from joining roads blocking it for traffic heading in the other direction.
I guess we should be thankful that there are generally few roadworks elsewhere in Ramsbottom this time. Last time I believe there were another two sets and a closure of Dundee Lane at one point….fun! (where’s that sarcastic emoji when you need it?)

Let’s hope it’s completed before the rake is closed next week!
