Today I went to the “Race up the Rake” also known as the Rake Hill Climb and streamed the race. Sadly, the periscope stream lost about 45 minutes worth of footage, however if you were watching live, you’d have seen it all.
The Rake Hill Climb is a yearly event put together by the Lancashire Road club with £1000 for the winner.
The race starts just outside the library.
I also streamed it on Periscope, I hope to steam more footage from events and goings on in Ramsbottom, but sometimes I actually just want to be there to enjoy it, so I wouldn’t count on too much streaming in the future.
The winner of this years Rake Hill Climb was Lee Baldwin, who was also last years winner. So the drinks are on him.
