This week’s interview with Stephen was one of the most fascinating I’ve had yet. If you’ve seen the Co-Op building from the outside, you’ll understand that it’s clearly a spectacular building, but it’s the inside that really holds your breath.

Literary and arts festival round up.

Last weekend saw the first Literary and Arts Festival to hit Ramsbottom.

Regardless of what you think with regards to the volume of festivals taking place in Ramsbottom, celebrating the arts in the way that was achieved on the 21st of November was hugely important, not just for the town but for our younger generation too.

Bury Council save Ramsbottom from a slow choking death

November 27, 2015 by Lee

HappyFamilyFieldBury Council have today released a report that the planned anaerobic digestion facility has been rejected.

Councillor Sandra Walmsley, cabinet member for resource and regulation, was quoted as saying: “This has been a long process which has stirred up a lot of emotion among residents in Ramsbottom. I am confident that the council and its staff dealt with the whole matter in a scrupulously fair and professional way, and I welcome the fact that this has effectively been recognised in the decision by the Inspector and the Secretary of State.” [Read more…] about Bury Council save Ramsbottom from a slow choking death
