One set of roadworks that passed me by…until I was sat in them are the temporary lights situated at he junction of Kay Brow and Bolton Street.
Although the information on roadworks.org seems to suggest they were expected yesterday, they only appeared today.
On the entry on roadworks.org it states they should be gone by tomorrow.

Not for the first time the two remaining cash machines in Ramsbottom ran out of cash. This tends to happen on events such as the Chocolate Festival but it’s not unusual for it to happen on weekends too. This happened on market day which cause some people to have to shop elsewhere due to not having cash.

It feels like I’m writing more and more about the roadworks in and around our town. Either they’re feeling more frequent or the data for upcoming roadworks is getting better, either way, I’ve got more for you.
As expected, when school holidays come around, the big roadworks follow. The focus this time seems to primarily be around the Lumb Carr Road area, if this is your regular route you’ll no doubt have seen the signs up.
