Sometimes it feels like rarely a day goes by in Ramsbottom without a new bar, restaurant or coffee shop opening, this month is no different. Nestled between Pizza Nova and Woodholme Supplies, opposite St Paul’s Church you’ll find The Ram in the old Ramsbottom Flooring premises. If I recall correctly, Ramsbottom Flooring struggled to get back on their feet after the boxing day floods (comments below if I’m wrong).
New owner Charles Daubney has already been highlighting the affordability of the bar, which can be compared to the other bars in the vicinity. Speaking with Bury Times towards the end of 2018, Charles has said he is going for a “European” feel for The Ram (just in time for Brexit).
The location of the bar should work well and be a good stopping point for those travelling up and down Bridge Street as well as being a destination in itself.
It’s been open since the 1st of March and the gears and pumps of the operation are well in motion. Welcome to Ramsbottom!
Let me know what you think of The Ram and how it compares to your regular watering hole.?

I am getting a bit bored of new bars/gin palaces/eateries if truth be told. Rammy is catering more for the tourists than the locals. Also why is it that all these incomers mistakenly think the “Rams” in Ramsbottom has something to do with sheep?
