…at least that’s what can be taken from the latest article in The Bury Times – 10 best restaurants in Bury according to TripAdvisor reviews.
It’s no surprise though, Ramsbottom has long been associated with a foodie destination and with fantastic places opening like Lolos, Baratxuri and Owens , it’s no wonder that they’re popping up in top 10 articles.
Maybe one day Ramsbottom will have a restaurant that features in the 50 best restaurants in the world which prompted the article by Melanie Wallwork for The Bury Times.
Having had one of our top restaurants badly damaged by fire recently, maybe it will be able to come back bigger and better than ever?

- Istanbul Grill, Bury New Road, Prestwich
- The Clarence, Silver Street, Bury
- Leckenby’s, Mill Gate Shopping Centre, Bury
- Fisherman’s Retreat, Riding Head Lane, Ramsbottom
One omission I’m a little bit surprised about is that there is no mention of the Eagle and Child in this top 10.
Is it because their patrons don’t use TripAdvisor much? Given the number of awards that Glenn has racked up in the past, I’m a little surprised.
