Ramsbottom is undergoing a facelift (some would say constantly), specifically Bridge Street. It was supposed to have several new premises opening however it would appear that Havana Cafe and Bar is no longer going to be opening, meaning that W.D Scholes is back on the market again for someone to invest in. The following businesses however are WELL on their way to opening and have made huge leaps towards opening day.
You might recall from the interview I had with Lucy that Little Goody New Shoes is opening soon. The signs have been installed, stock is rolling in and the first steps into becoming a shoe shop have been made.
Another shop open during the day is a welcome to Ramsbottom given the recent boom in evening establishments such as Bars and Restaurants, speaking of which.

Lolos Vegan and Raw (see this week’s upcoming podcast episode) has had their new signs installed, Laura has also stocked the shelves of their shop and are intending on opening next week.
Laura has approached this cleverly and instead of just having the restaurant where it will generally be an evening only type affair, the shop and upcoming Deli will be open during the day.
It’s now almost like a race to get the two businesses open and trading, which is understandable given every day they’re not open and trading is more money lost.
