We were expecting rain, and all the warnings were there, but I don’t think anyone was expecting anything quite what we’ve had.
With unconfirmed reports that the bridge into Ramsbottom might collapse and The Waterside pub in Summerseat destroyed, our emergency services and community are working incredibly hard to try to save what they can and help anyone with flood defenses and clean-up.
