On the 9th December we have our festive farmers market. We have stalls selling fresh, locally produced food and beautiful handmade crafts. We have Wareings Farm with their fresh vegetables and fruit, Holts Farm with their lamb, Park Farm with Cakes and Bakes, Heights Farm with their pet food, hot food from Bowland Pork, we have an artisan cheese trader and homemade preserves and handmade chocolates. There are handmade soap and bath products and beautiful artisan crafts and arts. Inside the Civic Hall there is a wide range of crafts including jewellery, bags, art, candles and soap. The Farmers Market takes place at Market Place (By the Urn and inside the Civic Hall).
If you would like a stall at the Farmers market the fee is £20 for crafts and £25 for food, pre booking is essential, email firstname.lastname@example.org to book.
Also on the Sunday is the weekly Car Boot at the Railway Car Park. If you would like a stall at the Car Boot there is no need to book, just come along early (around 6am) the fee is just £11 per bay unless you are selling food then the fee is £17.
The Steam Train is running and there is a wide range of independent shops, cafes and bars to wander around.
Although this is the last farmers market of the year in Ramsbottom, we do have a two day christmas market the following weekend at Bridge Street, Church Gardens, Market Place and inside the Civic Hall.
